I took some time to explore why this might be happening and I discovered some stuff that has been hidden from most of us. I'm not sure anyone is trying to hide this from everyone. I just think many folks do not know about it. It's really quite simple.
This is not some giant revelation, but for some of us, this requires a shift in our thinking. It certainly requires a shift in our perceptions. We often buy other folks' IM products thinking that we can be good at something if we simply learn how to do it. So, we buy programs which teach us how to do some things we want done in IM. But, very often, we can learn the content, but we cannot do the task.
We hope to finally start making the kinds of IM income we want by trying to do something which we have found to be hard to do. More than "hard to do," many of these things we need to get done (things outlined in some specific program we bought) are simply not a good match for us. Maybe it is hard to grasp the information. Maybe the process is difficult for us to understand or follow. Maybe those specific activities are just simply not our style. Maybe we cannot attend to those things the way the author of the program tells us. Maybe we are too much the tinkerer and we cannot do the program as presented.
There are dozens of excuses and failures of performance which interfere with us being able to do the activities and reap the benefits. Basically, we don't seem to have the thinking and behavioral patterns in our repertoire to perform what is provided in these programs from which we receive no benefit. Here is the paradigm shift: We don't have the thinking pattern or the behavior patterns to do some kinds of tasks. It is not so shocking. We all know this. But, somehow we are not successfully applying this concept to our Internet business activities. If we are good at some kinds of things, this means we have certain ways of thinking and acting which supports our success at that task. Those ways of thinking and behaving may not work to support our success at a different kind of task. It is that simple.
